Actually, I get why you'd be afraid to confront her about this...
Do you think she might have a few Aspie traits?
Also, do you know if she is still interested in you?
It's hard to say whether your just the shoulder to cry on or whether it's a case of two people not communicating on their own feelings and letting them be known.

Funny you mentioned the Aspie part because she does have a few traits of it. But I don't know for sure, and if she really did have it, she would have likely told me, since I told her I had it. Maybe she could have it and doesn't know? I had thought of the possibility of her having Asperger's, but kinda dismissed it for the longest time. It didn't matter to me for a while, but this lack of communication is wearing me down. She does take a lot of downtime though, and seems to prefer being alone sometimes, or playing video games. Well, after she takes care of her daughter and plays with her and then puts her to sleep. Also like I said before, she's not even really talking to her online friends much anymore.

I don't exactly know if she's still interested. She'll throw out vague hints. She was actually more upfront with me before, in retrospect. Like before she found out I liked her. Then after that there was a huge amount of interest on her part, to the point where we exchanged phone numbers and she called me (she hates talking on the phone, apparently, but she wouldn't stop talking that night). We don't talk on the phone now because we both have prepaid phones.

The couple friends I have told me that I should try communicating my feelings to her and see if that would help. I haven't necessarily done that yet. I kinda tried once and it came out jumbled. She was more responsive for a bit after I did it, but I was told that I should have just told her everything in a more organized manner rather than just telling her certain things.

Yeah I understand what they're talking about but due to your inexperience and how your mind works in terms of saying what you feel you can say. That's why you find it hard and it's not your fault.
That's just how people on the spectrum are, they can only say certain things and it can be all jumbled up but to us, it makes sense.
Yeah, she may have told you if she was an Aspie. Though it's just how some of her ways can be very similar such as not really wanting to talk all the time and enjoys her alone time that did make me wonder.
