PUA can be dangerously effective.

From this description, I'd guess that the kind of women most PUAs would go after wouldn't have much interest in me to begin with. In particular, in this line:
Indirectly, he made him sound less wiser, less mature and much physically weaker than him.
I'm well aware that there are plenty of people, men and women, who are more mature, physically stronger, and wiser (in a real-world sense) than I, and really don't pride myself on whatever of those traits I do have.
I resent people like that more than I envy them, and don't idolize them. Now I probably should idolize them more, because I likely don't spend enough time in the "real world plane" as opposed to the "world of beautiful ideas plane", which is where my entire sense of romanticism comes from. But since I have a problem doing so, I don't think I would "idolize" the PUA in the way he'd want me to. I'd probably be like "there's another guy who's too grown up and doesn't appreciate the truly interesting in this world.
So I'd think that a girl who is attracted to philosophers, artists, etc. for their creativity and ideas would be harder to win over in this way. Harder to find, but also less attractive to the PUA type. Unless he's also a brilliant and creative thinker with a beautiful mind, but someone who could "steal" all of my ideas (by out-thinking them, not just copying) would be a threat in far more important ways than potentially being able to win over a girlfriend.
So really, it sounds like the PUA succeeds by being someone who the guy sees as much as direct competition, as a rival for the girl's attention.
