I find going on sites to be a lot easier then going in person. Yea, the rate of sucess is a lot lower, but I can least get an idea of what that person is like (unless their fake) and I'm alot better at introducing myself online then in person.

the main problem with dating sites for me is that it arouses a deep sense of misanthropy in the way that peeps go about describing themselves. The ironic thing is that it is lonliness that drives me to going onto dating websites in the first place, but when i actually get on the things it just fills me with utter contempt for humanity that im glad to not be engaging with the sorta people you get on those sites. which i guess serves as some remedy for lonliness. alienation to sort alienation nice
