last week. An old friend of mine was in town, we got really stoned, one thing lead to another, and me and her made out. It was very incredible too. This whole attitude change I've been going though is no BS. Our self perceptions that we carry around with us can chain us down. I've been trying to reprogram my brain and eliminate self defeating thought patterns, and it seems to be working. My favorite quote ever is from FDR, "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself". He was talking about overcoming the Depression, but this simple phrase can extend into a whole life philosophy.

I've just been meditating on this recently, and my life is really changing for the better in a lot of ways. I even got a job a few weeks ago after being unemployed for a year. Don't fear your past or your future. I think not carrying self doubt and feeling like I don't deserve happiness helped me project the right vibes so I could get the job. Appreciate the present and all the wonderful things it has to offer you. It seems mundane, but there's so much beauty in the direct experience of daily existence to be realized. Don't allow yourself to be shackled in fear, ever. I still have a long way to go in applying this philosophy, but it really works. This is for the comments right above me.
I am working on picking myself back up after a bit of a screw up. I have concluded that it was a learning experience, and am now better and stronger because of it. I have been trying to reprogram myself in several ways. It is nice to know that I am not alone in this. It was good to hear about your successes. I expect no less in
my future.
