Males with AS outnumber females, ratio being somewhere between 1.6:1 and 4:1 depending on a criterion used

However, in the future we can increase the quantity of girls with AS traits with the help of genetic engineering

Who knows, maybe the truth is that there were no AS girls at all 50 years ago and the currently existing AS girl population is the product of some secret experiments which have been already started some decades ago

So, should we say that for some reason larger proportion of AS females prefer to stay in closet? And what is perhaps more remarkable: they manage to do it.

And there's no genetic evidence that they're not more affected, however all stats suggested otherwise.

And DIAGNOSED low-functioning autistic males outnumber DIAGNOSED autistic females, and classic autism is very EVIDENT in the first years of life and there's NO WAY that doctors would MISDIAGNOSE the female cases that much for other syndromes. And there's NO WAY that severe autistic female cases would go under the radar, as you female AS here often CLAIM about AS.

And if AS is a type of AUTISM, then logically, the gender ratio should be SIMILAR at least of the more severe autism condition.

All ASD cases are more male-effected, low, medium, AS..... I don't know why the females of this forum are so often upset at this.
