I believe animals like dogs need a certain amount of freedom and opportunity for instinctual behaviours amongst their own kind

I used to really enjoy seeing my control freak collies rolling on the ground playing with a real friend he/she sees a few times every week. It makes them more human and less robotdog when they play with other dogs

Its is incomparable in its socialisation and normalisation of what it means to be a dog amongst other dogs.

When I meet dogs that are not used to being around many other dogs, I'm like, 'your mom and dad keep you at home all the time!'

There is a fair size sub culture of dog loving walking people with sexy walking for years outdoor lifestyles, who like drinking wine....

I went to this college..and it';s public space..if I want to go there I can..there are restaurants, and other clubs to go to.

Mostly it will be what time you walk an area. Busy times will be full of other dogs, quiet times you are own your own

There are many cities where people can't let their dogs roam around off the leash. It's against the law because dogs will be dogs--get into trash, chase cars, maybe even bite people. A dog park is a place where people can let their dogs run around free for a while.

As I said I may have been reading some things into your comments just based on context, older guys and townies hang out on my campus to creep all the time and it's annoying, if the campus just has a nice green you want to use have at it
but I don't think it's okay to hang around just to look at / hit on college aged girls while they're going about thier buisness

im 22 im not an older guy and will most likely be continuing my education at this same school for their master's program. If guys are called creeps for approaching women how are they supposed to get gfs? Im also not going to be harassing girls, im going to walk my dog(same as ido in mydevelopment) and my dog is the type that stops people,(it happens all of the time).
