She looks like many next door girls.

Her nose is bit curvy, typically Semitic.

I know what I meant, and Spanish heritage and Hispanic mean the same thing:

Wikipedia wrote:
Hispanic is an ethnonym that denotes a relationship to Spain or, in some definitions, to ancient Hispania, which comprised the Iberian Peninsula including the modern states of Andorra, Portugal, and Spain and the territory of Gibraltar.

I did not say she way a Spaniard.

I apologise if I offended you. You may have known what you meant, but I did not. In Europe, Spanish is not used as an adjective for anyone other than someone who comes from the European country of Spain. Maybe you use different words in the US.

@Plodder: Firstly, I was not offended. Tone of voice and mannerism does not come across well in text.

Secondly, I'm from England. It says so over there <<<

And finally, at the risk of sounding pedantic, I meant to say that due to the high proportions of Mexicans and possibly Brazilians in the U.S., it is quite likely that anyone of that or similar skin tone is of that ethnic group. Mexico was a Spanish colony, and Brazil was a Portuguese one. Both Spain and Portugal are post of the Iberian peninsula, and will have similar gene pools. Hispanic may be a more generalised term, but I believe that 'Spanish heritage' is a viable and legitimate term.

Personally, I think she looks more,as Taverson says, Middle Eastern.

There's something in her face in that picture that just bugs me... like she's the type of person that used to bully me in school. A mean-girl princess.

Is she one? Who knows. It's just something about that face that is shared with so many other "princesses" that it triggers an instant aversion-reflex that I'd have to speak to her in person to overcome.

...but she's half my age so she's not my type anyway. ;) ;)

Now the brunette who introduces the video... she's quite intriguing! Far more than the overly-made-up blonde doctor.

Same here in regards to the princess comments. But it's sort of like "a rose by any other name..." in regards to who she really is (good or bad) and also she looks the same regardless of any connotations you and I have in regards to those types of people and how they appear.

As for the brunette, she probably is an interesting person. She seems to have a great personality judging from those few seconds of film. On her appearance, her eyebrows were too high and I don't care for the hairstyle.

And spot on about the blonde LOL.

@Hispanic v. Spanish: In Texas, if you called a Mexican a Spaniard there would be anywhere from a polite correction to a bullet in your face. Depends on where in Texas you are and the Mexican's attitude/behaviour.

In other words, not my type of cute! 8O

She looks Persian or Indian. She has beautiful dark eyes and she seems sweet, but we can't know it because she is acting. This is my impression.

By the way, reading you, it's quite proved men can be very picky too. It's something it's denied constantly here, but men can be as picky as women  .

I'm really picky. First to admit it.

But in a really weird way. I can't explain it.

I'd need to journal a few days over what I prefer in a woman when it comes to looks and personality before I could begin to form an idea of how to explain it.

I'm not against men with own criterion at all, and not against men who have to study during few days to form an idea about how to explain his picky style, either :o

She's cute, probably Middle Eastern.... I like the girl in the beginning with the glasses and the bangs. She's a cutie pie.

What kind of a shallow thread is this? I browse this forum after ages and this is the first thing I see? How depressing.

How would you feel if you saw a thread with strangers dissecting your appearance and making assumptions about your personality? You've seen one short video of her acting with Alex and that's it. You don't know her. I'm sure she's lovely.

Well, I'm not that surprised. All my life I have heard men criticizing the aspect and personality of women they didn't know and saying horrible things. It's like when some of them punctuate women on high school.

I'm too cynical to care anymore.

She is an actress so she is kind of "exposed" to criticism, but it's true that there is a sad lack of respect here. She looks friendly and she helps Alex to explain how to date to autistic people. And they talk about "Midnight in Paris" and that's cute. By the way, I have seen this movie today (again).

She looks alright but for some strange reason she seems to look like the controlling manipulative type. But that is just me.

And you don't judge people you've never met either?

It's a good natured post. I'm sorry you're offended by it.

Welcome back though! :)
