All I ask is a vegan cake so I can eat some too! :) I'm not into all the big, costly things..I like simple best. BUt I do want to look pretty as well, but I can still do that while being simple. BUt so far I am content with things.

Woot! Bf and I might make our own. We're pretty simple in what we want.

Haha I went to a wedding yesterday and got my own figured out
It would start out really boring and bland like a normal wedding. Then when the vows and everything got overwith, everyone would dance outside to a big carnival
Fun wedding, huzzah! :D

A small wedding, with a handful of people in a quiet secluded garden. A magical little garden that makes me think of fairies. Simple, happy and no fuss. Preferably with nice soft grass, so I can forego shoes.

Honestly though, I don't really care. If agree to marry someone, it'll be because I love them. So it's about committing to them, not anything material. I'd be happy to get married at the registry office...really.

We are getting married on March 30th at a place called Wedding Island on the Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas. It will be small with about 25-30 people. My fiancee's friend is a minister and will marry us "Princess Bride" style. Then it's a riverboat cruise with cocktails and nibblies, then to a four star restaurant for the reception. Then to Palm Springs for the honeymoon for 4 days.

First wedding was in a lovely rose garden (with a dress I made myself and there were giant bees everywhere and I was terrified and my ex accidentally called me his "bedded wife" instead of "wedded wife" and his weird mother was wearing a dress whiter and lacier than mine.) :?

Second wedding, my husband and I went down to the courthouse on my lunch hour, then I went back to work. I don't even remember what I had on that day.

If I ever found someone who wanted to be with me then I would let them plan it. Weddings are for women anyways and so I would want her to have the wedding that would make her the happiest. If it was left to me, it would be a trip to a notary or justice of the peace-cheap and practical. Then again, I have the feeling that doing so would not make for a happy wife or a long lived marriage.

It's kind of funny that you say that. When I was planning a wedding years ago, it was my uber-social and outgoing fiance who wanted a big wedding and me who wanted a cheap and practical wedding.

What wedding? If it ever does come to that, only thing I've decided is that I will have a black dress and a 20"" corset (or smaller). And nice flower arrangements :)

I don't want a stereotypical one.

That's all I know.

I absolutely hate formal occasions and the idea of getting married makes me cringe. Not the being married part, the being at my own wedding, with people looking at me and having to ask perfect all day. I can't even go to other people's weddings, my mom remarried last year and I didn't go. Apparently all little girls dream of a princess wedding since they're about 5. I dreamed of having a motorbike :/ (which I now do :D)

I would probably have a really small affair with a handful of people. I've heard you can get married at night now which would be nice. I think the point of the wedding should ulitmately be the love of the bride and groom and nothing else should really matter, if we both show up and say I do, that's enough for me. Everything else is money and stress.

There may be a chance that I will stream my wedding for friends that won't be able to make it down to LA.....

I had a very traditional wedding. I attended church then, so the service was there and we had the reception in a hotel. My husband wore a kilt and I wore a long white dress with a train. We had a chief bridesmaid and two flower girls. There were 80 guests for the whole thing and 40 evening only guests. The entertainment was a traditional Scottish ceilidh (pronounced Kaily). Really, it wasn't much to talk about, and if it wasn't for the fact that my Mum would have been upset, I would have had a much smaller guest list or maybe gone away and got married on a beach somewhere warm.
