Men are always told 'you shouldn't make finding a partner a priority' and yet when we don't have one, people think there's something wrong with us.

It is a big deal for a guy. To be a virgin, or have no experience. It makes people think you're not a proper man.

I think society is too fixated on the "traditional" ideal of a romantic relationship anyway. And I'm not even talking about homophobia here. Some people might prefer platonic love. Or close friendships. Or even friendships with sex. No, for most people it HAS to be the standard, romantic, holding-hands-thing.
