Just a guess, but the pose in that picture might make you look creepy.

This one is much better. Same setting, same shirt, same everything, except that you look more "friendly" here.

I reread your OP. You're referring to the second picture among the bunch. But I was referring originally to the main picture on the page that you linked to, namely this:
