I'm wondering why this was something that you need to grow out of.
Settling for someone just for the sake of not being alone doesn't sound all that grown-up to me.

She not talking about settling she talking about just not wanting to put any effort into a relationship with people she is attracted too and/or attracted too her.

Its something alot of people go through especially if they're going through depression.
