Women are not attracted to me because I'm not 'masculine'?

Yeah not every guy can grow a great big bushy beard.

I used to be able to go a week without shaving and have nothing noticeable. Maybe by the time I'm 40 I'll be able to grow one.

Doesn't help that part of my beard is blonde just like my eyebrows, it doesn't really show up that well.

I used to see a short, thin, weak and ugly looking WoW-playing type mommy's boy with a hot as hell brunette (model-like) student girl that was his height, size and age and they were kissing 24/7 on the bus and did I mention he looked poor, infantile and shy?

She loved him.

I dunno? I didn't realize this was a thing, sorry... I've been growing a full beard for about two years now (when I feel like it / too lazy to shave).

There IS an upswing though - instead of a full mustache/beard/chest-hair, the extra boost of estrogen (I presume) resulted in a great head of hair while my peers are pretty much bald already. ;)

You just know a few women who happen to have the same preferences in guys. There's plenty of women out there who like boyish good looks. If there wasn't Beiber would still be a nobody.

Why do people keep bringing him up? Little girls love him, that doesn't mean women do.

He's a cutie..but he reminds me of my son.

My Aspie guy looks youthful. So much so that someone said I was a cougar. I had to remind them he is a year older than I am. No facial hair what so ever and not ONE gray hair. About 5'8"...super sexy to me....

I know but people on this forum just keep insisting that Beiber is some kind of sex symbol amongst 20 something - 30 something women, when I've yet to see any evidence to that in reality.

I haven't noticed that here or IRL. Bieber's fans are just as you describe, tween/teen girls. He lucked out in the aesthetic lottery to be able to market himself to this target market, which happens to spend the most money on music & music merchandise of any demographic. 20-30something+ women are likely to agree that Justin Bieber is cute, but I've never ever heard/read of any considering him any sort of sex symbol. That's just looney tunes.. unless he decides to start doing gay porn or something, then I could see how he might have a bit of a sex symbol following among certain crowds.

My son is 26 and can only grow pale fluffy sparse facial hair - we joke that it looks like he fell asleep on a mangy rabbit!
His response -
"We men are all given the same amount of hormones. If other people waste them growing facial hair its up to them  "

Honestly, women like men in all shapes, sizes and facefluff styles. The women you spoke to just happen to fancy a different type of bloke.

There's a lot of "women have different preferences" responses. While this is true, the OP's concern isn't too off base. Women tend to be more attracted to the more masculine looking face.

But on the plus side, OP, if you're interested in dating women younger than you, your look can give you an edge. Old enough looking to seem like the mature older man, young enough looking that you don't seem too old in their eyes.

A lot of guys have mentioned that when they were younger, women didn't give them the time of day. As they got older, this didn't change among women their age, but they noticed younger women giving them the eye. I've noticed this too, and I'm 30.

Something to think about.

I'm mainly attracted to slightly feminine straight males. I like them slim to chubby. "Manly men" remind me of chimps and gorillas most of the time. I would tolerate a masculine guy if he was a GREAT otherwise.

But apparently according to what I've been told my crush thinks I'm a hottie...bring on the lip rip!

As for Bieber...

Little girls and 30+ women love him. It's just 20-something women, especially mid 20's, who are into the hairy looks. Women of several other races tend to like boyish looking white guys (you should try East Asian girls, for example). I'm pretty similar in some ways but have a tall, masculine body, so it isn't too bad. I have been accused of not being able to grow facial hair, even though, if I don't shave for a few weeks, I look Amish. It's mostly a function of hair color, which matches my skin tone. There are definitely women who like similar looks. And you're not skinny by any means, so it's not like you look too feminine.
