That's about 2:3. Impressive!

Wasn't there a poll done on whether active members were females or males? Or was I seeing things?

I thought the problem was there is higher percentage of lesbians on here to straight women? But that aside you guys are assuming an AS woman would want an AS partner. It actually makes things more complicated in a relationship if you have two inflexible people.

This is because we generally have to make the first move, it's like that amoung NTs too. But the problem we run into is emotional blindess, we can't read the cues so we don't know when to take things to the next step, I think most of us are kinda hoping the female will take over eventually and control the pace. As they should with an aspie male, because if we just take a blind stab at it we might end up offending the girl.

What if the female is aspie too and just as bad as reading cues?

(two inflexible people), You know it will look that way, if your limit amount of people you have seen, and it would be the same with NTs, your basing it on what you have seen, for someone who is out and about you seem to be very negative, this kind of talk that puts labelling on people, then in the end the person who coined it or why it was started in the first place is unknown, seems like you seem to be the one who won't bend, and for the ones who do want one that is why it is open to some do...

am I just naive to believe that pace could be controlled by open communication? certainly it could be ackward, <I KNOW I mispelled it> but since you don't have all that keen bandwidth that neurotypicals use for understanding pacign you could just say "hey, em, yeah, I feel like I'm ready to move a bit further, I'd understand if you weren't, but I just want to check if you are also"

and so long as there was an understand that there wouldn't be reprisals for trying to communicate it could work bloody well

now, I admit I am innocent to the ways of other peoples minds, and I know people overcomplicate things for really overcomplicated reasons, so I'm cetain there is some overcomplicated reason this has to be overcomplicated

I just don't know what it is
