I did the same thing out of interest, generally the happier the person looked and the more interesting the location was they were photographed in the more attractive I found them.

I just logged in to my OK Cupid account, couldn't find this "Best face" thingy, is it only in America?

I did have a hyperlink that told me 8 People had rated me highly, (which is quite good as I wrote a profile designed to put people off which seems to be working quite well), it said I had to upgrade in order to see who they were.

I don't even have to try that thing. No woman would find me attractive.

A lot of the time they probably just choose one super-quick without looking closely at the photo.

That's an honest way to rate which one they find more attractive

I meant so quick that they hit the wrong button part of the time.(i.e. not paying attention)

I think it's the most accurate way to rate yourself on the 10 scale because its normed against others. So according to this, if women choose others 50% of the time, then you're a "5." If 90%, you're a "9," etc.

No, I think the old-school 0 to 10 rating way is more accurate.

My observation is that women tend to use only 4 levels.

9-10  DEFINITELY HOT OMG I'M GONNA SWOON!
6.   Maybe
3.   NO flippin way!
1.   I hope someone shoots him instantly and I'll help pay for it.

They don't seem to use any other numbers much.

Those are most numbers

Okc says that their female members find only 20% of males there above average, so I say they usually use only 1 or 10. :P

We're gonna be hanged by our balls today here.

True that! I'm gonna start running now...

Women look at different things than men do.
They want to know about you.
Therefore the situation or context of your picture is highly important.
Women often appreciate security, esp. financial security. Esp. in the marrying age...
Which background looks more rich? Looks more like you have personal access to financial stability?
They may not be looking at you at all.*

Don't be mad, it's hardwired into them, men have their own 'less than noble' attractions toward women.

On the third hand...
Freshly post-pubescent women aren't really thinking much with their brains, so sexy pix may rate higher.
Post (socially) prime marrying aged women may have good jobs (stability) and may be revisiting their sexuality, so again sexy pix may rate higher.
Meaning you're probably looking more sexy than successful in the pix you posted
gratz you, you're a hottie.

*Hehe. Women are going to be ticked-off that I outed a secret. =)
I hope they don't shoot me. =P

What you said does fit a lot of what I've observed. Men tend to comment on the beauty of the woman in the picture, but women tend to ask probing questions about the context instead.

I'm not referring to the going ons in this particular forum by the way.

Question: Would Sean Stephenson become famous if he didn't have his rare condition? Like if he was born totally healthy with no condition? I am not questioning his competence, but I mean it's his condition what differentiated him from other therapists/motivators and gave his words more credits, plus many people might have attended his sessions because he's a special case. I feel the very reason why he's seen as inspiration to many is due to his condition.
