I never get a crush on celebrities only "real" people.

I get crushes that develop into obsessions. fueled by asking myself questions like "well she talks to x how is he any better than me?"

I think x just has a bigger social circle and more "plans" to talk about, making himself sound important. Also x tends to have stubble like sandpaper all over his face and not look so youthful. x probably doesn't find himself lost in social situations frequently.

that doesn't make x better than you but if the lady in question is attracted to those qualities and you lack them then you could be forgiven for thinking less of yourself.

do you talk to the object of your obsession? I think obsessions only work if they are kept in fantasy land.

The last thing is I really get turned off when a woman says that I need to be more masculine. I mean some people think crying during emotional scenes in movies is not masculine. Who says so? Men should not be uncomfortable with their sensitive side. I mean I get all teared when I see some scenes in movies. Does that make me less of a man. Real men cry. I mean yes in my mind it always tells me I shouldn't do it because unfortunately it seems I was raised by a father who never cries at least very rarely. But I honestly do not think I should hold back. Nothing wrong with getting emotional.

You should only date artsy women. Crying because something is beautiful or moving is healthy. It can even be euphoric. It's not the same as crying out of self-pity so it's irrational to associate it with "weakness". The idea that men are supposed to be unfeeling robots is beyond stupid. Is it even worth living a dull sterile existence devoid of emotion?

This just proves my point more that most of society tells you to do things that are completely idiotic and irrational. What I am saying is most of society would say that men who cry are losers or weak minded. It is fallacy. It is why I will always be on the outside of society because i refuse to play things the way they do. Completely false and "plastic". They want me to believe in lies. Society is just a bunch of lies. And many will try and keep you out of their circles if you behave in any way that threatens them. I am not interested in pleasing the status quo. I do things the way I do them because I like it that way and it works better for me when I do what I feel is right.

Not sure where I was going with this. I guess it is a reflection of my punk rock lifestyle. Most of us (punks) do not believe in society the way it is. But we still do not care what they think honestly about our culture. The fact is society is wrong about us. We are some of the most loyal people around. I will not turn against the disenfranchised, the poor, the down-trodden. It basically is about human rights which are violated on a daily basis by people who should know better. Adults acting like children.
