On a serious note, it's quite possible that Hitler's personal life did impact upon Germany's history.

Hitler was a personality leader - he captured the public's imagination by tapping into their negativity, and making a section of the population a scapegoat.

His personality was strong - it was like his frame was so powerful, many people went along with it - he had a plan, and people just wanted to go somewhere.

The bitterness and resentment he tapped into - well, like many men, a lot of it perhaps came down to sex and this frustration. If Hitler had been able to connect 'properly' (ok, adequately) in a personal relationship, perhaps he wouldn't have had to have made Germany into a dominant power, out of compensation.

...and a lot of negativity flying around here at times :D

Let's be honest: an awful lot of men often betray themselves as pitiful creatures.

Görtemaker notes that Braun and Hitler enjoyed a normal sex life; Braun's friends and relatives described Eva giggling over a 1938 photograph of Neville Chamberlain sitting on a sofa in Hitler's Munich flat with the remark: "If only he knew what goings-on that sofa has seen."[30]
Eva Braun clicky

So then who's to blame for this? Braun or this other girl? There needs to be a way to blame WW2 on feminists........You just know women had to be behind it.........

Maybe the Blue Balls had already spread to his brain by the time he met her. There's no going back after that.

Bit late by '38. Or even by '32. You could argue that, by the writing of Mein Kampf, and the Munich shenanigans, Hitler was pretty much the finished article in terms of dictator personality.

It's just a theory. Not necessarily one that I hold to.
