I rember this being put to a scientific test once. They took the discriptions of all 12 zodiac signs, removed any direct refrence to birth date or sign, then randomly assigned each discription to a group of people. Everyone found something in the discriptions that matched them, some nearly perfectly, but there was no stasticly relevent corrolation between the signs the descriptions came from, which sign the person actually had, or how well they felt a "match". Then they repeated the test, this time with two new groups, intentionally giving each person in the first group the "wrong" sign, and making sure to match them in the second. And again, the results were a pile of crap.

Yes, yes, personal experience. Counts for crap in any truely objective analysis. It doesn't matter how far ranging your experience is, it will never be large enough to draw scientificly valid conclusions from. And let's face it, as an Aspie you're going to have a smaller range of interpersonal experience to draw from as compared to an NT in your situation, baring some sort of stastical fluke.

But hey, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe there is something to this astrology junk after all. So go ahead, use this post, and tell me my sign.

I've heard of that one b4. THe way I use it is I ask what sign they are. In extreme situations I use their answere to know wether or not its worth getting to know them. I've been burned enough times that its come down to that. I can't read people for crap and neither can anyone on this forum. This is just reliable enough for my purposes. I have no flippin idea what sign you are. All i know is you're a polemic, though possibly well meaning.

Every scorpio friendship or relationship I have ever had always goes the same way. Most aquarians I know tend to have a lot of anxiety about caring about other people, like its their responsibility or something. Most areses I know tend to be highly independant and energetic more than other types i've seen. it usually reveils itself after knowing htem for a while though. It takes me a long time.

You think thats nuts? I know people at my school who beleive in spirits and angels. As in "touched by an Angel". What I'm into has a practical use based on empirical data. The person I am currently having so much trouble with took over a year to reviel her more typical scorpio side. Or at least the objectionable part.

If you think about it my motive for beleiving in this stuff is legit. I, an aspie, realize that i can't read people, and realize that in this world I need to to get by in interpersonal relationships. So, if i dont have the intuitive ability, a system is called for. Many are availible. I've found mine works with some reliability. If the same motive hasn't occured to any of you, it should because aspies are up s**ts creak when it comes to interpersonal interaction. You dont have to adopt Astrology but you have to learn something to get by. Adopt something now and build friendships and relationships while you're young.
