You also see odd pictures on English dating sites. I do not think this is a Russian cultural phenomenon. So the thread title is a bit off.

It's not an oddity limited to just Russia, but the pictures were from Russian dating sites. No agenda or purpose behind this, it just happened to be at the bottom of an IGN article and I thought I'd share it and discuss photo dealbreakers while I was at it.
