It's kind of a punch in the face when you notice women your age actually looking like they could be your mom or at least your bigger sister, especially if they're wider shaped than you and have bigger arms.

I am a woman who looks a lot younger then my age. This sounds fine until you have insults hurled at you and snide remarks at my kids school about me being a teen mum. Then i also have my partner of 3 years not wanting to be seen out with me as people yell insults at him like cradle snatcher and that he must be rich or have a giant appendage. He is aspie with severe social anxiety so this is not great for him. Then I start a new job and there is money placed by the other employees betting on my age. It can be very alienating to look younger but i do have to agree that when i am older that there will be advantages.

I feel sorry for the young single men out there that look a lot younger. women tend to want manly men and not "boys" but then these same men when they get into their 40's will be able to date a 25year old and be the preference as they will be young looking with life experience as well as some financial backup.

at least a dull life generally lacks sheer terror, which an exciting life can be prone to having now and then.

^^Thats so true.When my kids complained about being bored I told them that was good.Lots better than a tank rolling through the yard.

^^^^Tulips are always better than hot lava.The most dramatic thing that happened here today was a big owl caught something in the yard at dusk.I opened the screen door just in time to see it take off.

lol, their facial-skin and hair color still ages the same as everybody else's. A very youthful-looking guy will likely end up with a "wrinkly-babyface"(+grey/white hair) in his forties/fifties or older if he doesn't take proper care of his skin. Same goes for a woman that looks younger than her age.
