I will never be able to date. I hate texting. Once a week in an emergency would probably be my limit. lol

I never got good at this part of dating. I just dated people who didn't mind me texting them a few times per day.My boyfriends before my husband didn't mind that I texted them 2-4 or more times per day (2-4 conversations, not just individual texts)-- they often texted me additional times, sparking new conversations. My husband and I were attached at the hip from 2 or 3 days of knowing each other onward. I just had to find someone who was okay jumping in feet first communication-wise. I was never good at beating around the bush or playing the dating game-- I just told someone that I was interested in them and wanted to date them. We dated, voila. It's possible, though, that that worked because I'm a woman. Men might have to work within different parameters.

just txt when you feel like chatting and maybe ask if it bothers them or not, if you have a good rapport I cant imagine it being a problem. to hell with the rules of this and that do what you feel like as long as your not bombarding them

No. That seems like he's losing interest. I'm not a pro at theses things either but I'd be pleased if I get a short text once a day or every other day if I like the guy. Just don't text multiple times a day.
But don't play games and wait for her to initiate contact unless you're confident that she's really into you.

Isn't that assumption a game by itself? If you really care about the guy, you would text him from time to time instead of being exclusively guy-to-girl all the time.

This is true. If she were truly interested she'd most likely have taken some initaitive.
