I know that some Aspie men are hated by women. It's a fact of life. So, the question is--are we going to just accept that and mope and rage at the world, or are we going to try to figure out why we are hated and attempt to work on that so that it's not as big of an issue going forward so that we can find a girl that doesn't hate us someday?

I know that some Aspie men are hated by some women

FTFY

You can't believe that every woman hates a specific Aspie man without exception. And not wanting to date or be in a relationship with a man does not necessarily equate to hate.

You can't expect someone to want to be around you if you are awful to be around.

This^^^

There's a difference between being awkward and being unpleasent. Those that struggle the most don't often get the difference. I don't think it's just an AS thing though. There are plenty of non-AS people who have the same trouble.

It's a lack of awareness(or perhaps flat-out denial) of how they come across. That isn't limited to those on the spectrum, but it is more common. Plus, aspies often have more behaviors that are unpleasant to others.

I think women tend to be more cruel in their rejections than men. Also, it is usually the man that has to initiate contact with the woman and therefore is at higher risk of rejection.

What?!? Of course we want an unpaid comedian. Who doesn't love to laugh?? But we want to be comediennes as well. So give us that.

And women, as a general population, don't fit into any rigid groups. I sometimes think I am different from other women (and I've been told that I am) but statistically speaking if there is one awesome (yeah I think I'm awesome) woman you know then there are millions. They just haven't revealed themselves to you yet. Or you haven't looked around enough to spot them.

Maybe the person who would fit you best isn't what you're expecting. Maybe she isn't your religion, maybe she isn't your race, maybe she isn't as hot as you imagined, or smart as you thought she should be. Maybe she is simply a complement to you that in all ways on paper is ordinary, but when matched with you is extraordinary.

problem is,alot of aspie men don't even talk to women, long enough, for women
to even know, what kind of personality they have.
aspie men are either very shy, where they can't even talk
to women,or they come off as weird, strange, creepy, that
women will avoid them, right from the get go.

Do you actually try to be funny or simply say the s**t that you find funny out loud??

I think that people find me funny. They laugh (and not AT me, lol) and it doesn't sound like that terrible awful forced laugh that people do when they're trying to be polite.

But (there's always a but) there are those amazing times when I just get blank stares. Those are some of the funniest times to me because if I said something to be funny you can be damn sure that I thought it was funny. So I laugh anyway and usually just say "well at least we get it".

Ah, watching them try to figure out who "we" is just increases my amusement.

I have been told that I do not do a good job of being embarrassed. So yeah. there's that too.

Ignorance was brought up... I would say the bigger a man's ego, the more ignorant they are, and the more stubborn they are in what they believe as well. And a lot of Aspies tend to have big egos.. and some of them have egos more fragile than others.

Gee... I wonder why a person's behaviour would be intolerable then.

I think I said it before long ago as well. Ego and Confidence cannot be confused and mistaken with one another. A lot of people NT or Aspie definitely have problems distinguishing the difference between the two as well.
1. Confidence is more about expression and ability to do something. People who are confident will get things done.
2. Ego is more about status and labels. People with big egos are more likely to be insecure if they don't get recognized for who they think they are.
