If you don't know the area, see if you can find a reviews site for local bars. There's also nothing wrong with saying "you're a local, can you suggest a bar where we can chat and get to know each other?"


A guy should be 100% careful about everything he does on a date, eh? No room for "mistakes".

It just a beer outing damn it lol, what if it was a dinner? he should also analyze every item on the menu whether it would be impressive or unimpressive in her eyes?

It's important to be yourself on your best behavior. Usually for several months if you hit it off before you can start just relaxing. It's not about being perfect but it is important to not make big mistakes, little ones if they like you will be over looked.
