How do you know if you're generally considered ugly?

Be generic good looking.

Sure everyone has specific tastes, but there is a look for men and women that most of the bell curve would go for.

For women it's usually petite, C'ish boobs, slim, pouty lips and a button/small nose. Often narrow sexy eyes, or large cute eyes.
For men it's usually tall and muscular/athletic looking with a strong jawline and a full head of hair,

I'm not interested in people challenging this with their preferences, but if anyone would like to add to the "generic hot criteria" please be my guest.

I, like most people fall into the average. I've had people tell me I'm "beautiful" on the street, and I've had guys call me butt ugly.

If you sum up the general reactions of people to you you can slot yourself in.

o.O if they said you were ugly then it was probably cause they mean and/or felt you were out of their league and resent you for it.

you look a lot like super models, and 90% or more men would agree they look good.

I could maybe see some not finding you super gorgeous, but but ugly o.O

I don't get how gorgeous people think their ugly, reddit amiugly is full of them. some just going there to get compliments though.


also for anyone who isn't great looking, don't post at amiugly. its only for great looking people. if you're not they'll stomp on you like a bug. shivers :(

Guess I'm a 1/10 or 2/10 then on global scale judging by the reactions and the impression they give me.

You end up on one of those online dating sites. Nothing sounds more desperate than being on a dating site putting your pictures up to be judged and ridiculed by anonymous strangers.

At least I have this part down. Not in as good of shape as I used to be thanks to spending a few years being an alcoholic and drug addict but now that I've been sober for about a year and finally quit cigarettes I'm getting back into it.
