I would like to know more about what the story is behind these Cat Cafes. Where do the cats come from, and where to they end up?

At a local Pet store, Pet Smart, there are shelter cats brought in. They try and get volunteers to come in and take the cats out of the cages to just sit with them and pet them etc. You can also do this at many pet shelters or volunteer to walk the dogs.

There are so many nice animals just languishing in the shelters that if you have this inclination it likely is available to you and free.
