You will be all right. It's okay to have had a relationship with someone who was almost good enough, because then at least you know you're on the right track to finding the right type of person, and you've better specified which characteristics you're not compatible with.

the breakup sounds very self-defeating for her. I remember saying in the past that it seems many people with Aspergers or Autism have self-defeating patterns of thoughts and behviour. It showed here IMO.
