Wherever he got this silly idea that it's all a party then it's marriage, I have no idea. But they need a slap over the face. What a stupid idea.

You don't live in the U.S. That is the cultural myth put forth on TV and in movies. A surprising number of young people over here buy into it.

I heard that bad boys get lots of dates and everyone else is saved for marriage. I don't want to marry! I want a nice string of relationships. But I don't want to be cast aside until girls start sagging (Hey, the truth hurts). I want to have FUN. I want to be the PARTY not the after-party. Is there a way that I can acquire some bad boy traits without being mean? I want to have fun now, but I don't want to be disrespectful. How do I bend with a bad boy image so that I can have the fun I want without changing myself dramatically?

Not sure where you heard that, but it's not true.

It's okay to know you don't want to marry, and it's okay to change your mind about that later.

Meantime, figure out who you are.

Be fit company for yourself.

Look for people--male and female--who have the same interests you have.

If by "fun" you mean sex, then you should know that in real life--not a porn flick, TV show, or latest tale going 'round the boys' locker room-- the only time most people never get turned down and get all they want, whenever they want is when they're tending to matters themselves. Otherwise, sex requires that someone else participate as well. Just because you're feeling like it doesn't mean your partner is, or can be persuaded to. If you get turned down or fall asleep midway through whilst taking matters into your own hands, there's no one to be upset with (or get upset with you). Other benefits: you can't catch/spread STIs and no one can fall pregnant.

Would that be around the same time you start having trouble with getting it up and your six-pack turns into a keg?

A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.

If you meet a nice girl you like, why not hold onto her instead of trying to find more?

Oh crap! I'm going to regret this but I've got to do it.

Go to the DVD store, or Netflix, or whatever, and rent a copy of 'Grease'.

Watch it, all the way through and try not to sing along 8) .

Now, consider the start of the movie, Danny has found the girl of his dreams and they've spent an amazing Summer together, this is probably what you want.

Now consider the scene in the car park where Danny is suddenly reintroduced to Sandy in front of all his gang members. He's been cultivating that 'Bad Boy' image with them for years and now WHAM! there she is. He then makes a total fool of himself AND he loses the girl. This is not good.

You can't pretend to be something else because it doesn't work, it especially doesn't work if you have Asperger's Syndrome because we're poor at reading body language and (mostly) poor at social skills. Danny got the girl by being himself, no 'bad boy' image required.

^ yeah but the girl had to reinvent herself into a starlet before Danny would give her a chance in front of his peer group. So the moral of the story isn't that you only have to be yourself, the moral of the story is that peer pressure always wins.

Grease is stupid.

If you want something that reflects what high school is like for a socially inept then watch "Lucas", it is the most realistic high school movie ever made.
