The "friendzone" is nothing more than a rationalization by guys to protect their egos. It's just a synonym for a girl not being attracted to a guy for whatever reason. I personally hate the term because it implicitly tries to assign blame on the girl when she doesn't have anything to apologize for or feel guilty about.
