face of boo, are you really the know all women style? its very sad you make like yourself the main point of how every woman operates. pretty sad.

To the OP, when she said that she felt lonely sometimes, what did you do or say to her in response? I'm not sure but that may have been a moment where she was trying to "open up" to you and have you comfort her in some way by asking her out. The fact that she said that tells me that she was allowing herself to be vulnerable around you, but you missed the opportunity because the social cues weren't direct.
