No.....that's just kinda depressing tbh.

I know, "if it cheers you up" was meant as a cruel joke on reality.
What I wanted to express as a response to you remarking sadness that it's unavoidable is: Better to let them go than trying to hold on to them at their expense, no need to be sad as it's the right thing to do. :)

I never 'hold on' to people who don't want any contact with me - that's stalking. It's normal to be sad when you lose a friend.
