Boo, I don’t believe your fear is at all irrational considering the current deal on the table.

Oh my, you must be a true baddass.

By the way Boo has had a girlfriend for more than a year.

Not really use how that’s relevant?

I might not call it badass, but for all the talk of tiptoeing around the feewings of those who are apparently just as strong as men are, I would think it’s pretty significant to say so.

And is anything you have said relevant? All I see is some unnecessarily, ummotivated, angsty and dramatic vilification of roughly half the userbase of the forum you have just joined.
How can I possibly respond in a relevant way to something that is not relevant in the first place? Have you contributed anything concrete to start a serious discussion?

Looks like you just want to be contrarian for the sake of it. A lot of writing but no substance.

Then please tell me what exactly I should respond to something that sounds along the lines of "Duh, wyhmyhn r ull aivallll!!111!" That is statistically not very likely and it makes people question your own goodness instead.
But if the almost six lines I wrote in two comments are for you, and I quote, "a lot of writing" then I guess we should just be very patient with you.

I definitely do not have a fear of commitment when it comes to relationships. I feel more secure with it & I probably have a fear of abandonment without commitment; well I may have that fear with commitment but it's alot less. It's very difficult for me to find someone I can get close to who's actually interested in a romantic realtionship with me. I'm aLOT happier within a romantic realtionship.

I confess that my celeb crush is still going very strong despite loving my girlfriend & rather be with her if I had to chose. Anyways maybe I should make a post about this but it will probably be long. I thought about what to post in my head & it will take me a quite a while to express it all by typing a post. I'm also kind of embarrassed.

You should post about it. It’s probably not that unusual.

And here we see the subject valiantly destroy a strawman - what courage! Now he can get some good ol brownose points with those who’ve already lost respect for him for his own pispoor arguments. Amazing.

Two posters seem to be playing some kind of derailment bingo for their own upmanship, and the rest are posting on topic. Stay on topic posters or leave the thread, save squabbles for PMs if you must continue them at all.

I think that goes both ways for men and women. Anyway, aspie males may feel particularly affected in that regard for the reasons we all know. Every person is different though, that's what they say.

I am also afraid of commitment but maybe not in the same way that you are. None of the women with whom I had a relationship were really up to the task of a lifelong commitment themselves. They were thinking only on what *I* could do for their lives. Looking back, when you have a perspective like that, I think it's safe to say a man can't feel so secure about his future should he pick that woman as a wife. Anyway, that's a very complex matter with lots of angles to it.
