What does it mean when a girl offers you a sip of her drink?
Maybe she wants to see how you will react to whatever it is that she's put into the drink.
"'Scuse me, but does this drink taste like roofies to you?"

You can't post a whole playlist, only one video. So the album would have to have been uploaded as one video, or you need to post each video.
I think the point has been well an truly made
The guy is a total scum bag. However there was no excuse for the assaults on him whist he was in Canada. Two wrongs don't make a right.

He has admitted to date-raping drunk girls not capable of consenting, openly, in his writings. The men in my country don't take well to admitted rapists who try to hold "speaking engagements" to brag about the rape they do in foreign countries and to try to teach other guys how to become date-rapists of drunk women. He got a drink poured on his head for that and chased back to his hotel. He got off easy.
How did this topic shift from a girl offering a sip of her drink to RooshV?
I'm not justifying his actions, but I did notice that more girls started offering me sips of their drinks after I incorporated PUA tactics into my communication. I usually use the "cocky and funny" method, which lately has been superseded by "playfully arrogant". That, and kino. I'm aware of neg hits, but can't bring myself to use them, unless I'm blatantly joking.
Either way, it looks like the girls offering drink sips are just being friendly/generous, not unlike giving or accepting a hug. Still feels pretty good, though.

I'm going to go against the trend on this one and say it's upping the flirting ante.
You said that things were sometimes flirtatious in the group ... and this is certainly an example. It's not a sign that she's not into you, that's for sure.
And forget this PUA crap. It's dishonest. PUAs are disingenuous for the sole purpose of sex. It's basically lying ... you are not being honest about who you are so that you can get sex on false premise.

Yes--and it's not just dishonest, it's gross and kind of ridiculous. You are making yourself in to a caricature when you act out those "strategies". The guys who preach this PUA stuff are no kind of role models to admire and emulate. Surely you can find better quality people that are socially successful to admire and emulate (ones that don't self-publish rape manual e-books can't be that hard to find). If these guys are your heroes, you might want to do a little soul searching and ask yourself why that is, and what your idea of virtuous and admirable behaviour is, and then look for those qualities in the people you choose to emulate in the future.

Given the circumstances, I'll say this. PUA is the lesser of two evils between being mildly manipulative but getting to enjoy a girl's company, even if platonically, and being a nice guy and being treated like a full-fledged beta male all the time. You know, like voting for ______ in the 2016 election. Both candidates are rotten scumbags, but you vote for the one that doesn't grate on you as much.
I'm saddened that a thread which started with a description of a sweet gesture of sharing and comfort---and wanting to know if there's romantic meaning behind it---has degenerated into PUA bashing. And me having to defend myself for having engaged in friendly flirting with girls whose company I enjoy.
To get the thread back onto the right track, I'll add that sharing sips of drinks works both ways. If a girl who made me uncomfortable one way or anther, intentionally or inadvertently, I would not accept a sip of her drink. So let's say she was one of those loud, in-your-face types that puts me on edge, and during my conversation with her, offered me to try her craft beer. I'd smile and politely decline. Why? Comfort level, or lack thereof.

Wow, you really gulped the Koolaid, didn't you? If PUAs are the lesser of two evils in your mind, the other greater evil somehow being a decent honest person, then searching your soul probably is a pointless endeavour. Good luck to you. I don't know what else to say.
This girl in the bar was drinking a new flavor of it. She offered me to try a sip, so I took one.

Cool. That's very clever. You should work that material into your routine, I'm sure it will score you some quality interaction with vagina-havers. Cool cool. Do you lift, as well?
