I never see any libertarian women anywhere, I do live in Maryland though. It just seems that women are way more prone to be far left politically, or in some cases far right. There seem to be few moderates and even fewer libertarians. I had much better luck talking to women when I was a liberal. Why did I ever take the red pill? Not sure if this belongs here, or in the political thread. Darn me for making some sort of hybrid thread.

That's probably because women aren't idiots about this sort of thing.

Safety and security are very important to women in their role as nurturers.

So, they will likely prefer a nanny-state over the rugged, "free" life of Libertarianism.

I just don't think of Libertarianism as being very effeminate. It allows for individuals to take care of them selves. Women tend to be more social and focus on interdependence.

I guess being a strong independent women doesn't apply when you're talking about the state...

Well I'd expect Feminist's to fit the 'strong, independent' woman archetype, though you have always seemed very opposed to Feminism (and rightfully so!).

Even then, I'd expect a reasonable number of Feminist's to be left-wing and liberal, rather than right-winged.

Are you so sure it would be a deal-breaker or far too difficult if a woman wasn't libertarian but something else slightly right, centrist, or even slightly left?

In fact, your description of your views has made me wonder if you are aware of the concept of left-libertarianism, and if that may describe your political views better than traditional right-libertarianism.

Yeah, they don't exist here. It's either they are hardcore leftist, or apolitical and ignorant about eveything going on in the world.

Not to mention the plethora of women whom lost interest after they found out I support the 1st and 2nd amendment.

Feminists claim to be independent, yet they want to live in a nanny state that shields their feelings from being hurt.
