My weirdest experiences have been where a guy I was just talking to on a friendly basis would think it might lead to dating, when I had not expressed any interest in that whatsoever. Like this one man I met in a FB group and chatted with sometimes, suddenly asked me if I wanted to go on a sailing trip with him (?!?!?!?!?!) That was so bizarre, I barely knew the guy. I've realized since then that some people think just being on FB without a relationship status constitutes "online dating." Another reason why I hate FB.
