I don't believe bars and Jamesy mix too well.

If I was to play pretend psychologist, I would wonder if the reduced inhibitions from the booze made you give vent to resentment towards women. That will be 35 cents. (Inflation).

Lucy charged 5 cents in the 1960s.

alright, than clearly the solution is quit being resentful....also though alcohol lowers inhibitions it's not an excuse to say rude things to other people at the bar.

There's something about the bar that attracts the OP.

I think he needs a new hang out, preferably without alcohol, before something worse happens... But y'all are cracking me up over here!

Based on the experiences this guy has had in this particular bar, I would be turned off to bars for life.

I used to go to bars when I was younger to play pool. I didn't drink then, and I don't drink now. Trivia Nights are cool, too.

But this bar that this guy goes to sounds like one of those old-time "dives."

Yes you did. I think the girls came up with a good comeback too.

If you can't behave responsibly when you're drunk than don't drink.

I actually think that's hysterical. I bet they sure as f**k didn't expect to be asked that? They probably got insulted because women are expecting/hoping/normally get talked to with interest, not about their stench. I like it. I approve. We may drink together!

Oh dear... I don't know whether to laugh or cry. So, maybe both? They will need a rescue!

This ^^^

But, peer pressure can be a powerful thing. It can sometimes feel awkward to be the only one in the room without a drink in your hand.

There's nothing wrong with having to glass of coke in your hand.

Nothing irresponsible about a simple question... these women are the ones who got all bent outta shape. People need to relax.
