Observe instead.

At the beach, I was subtly watching what makes girls' heads turn - and it's a six-packed guy everytime.

It was extremely obvious - women even tend to be even less subtle while they're starting at some guy (probably because they don't get scorned if they do so) and you can literally see their heads turning fixated at the target.

From what I've observed many times, no other body type makes their heads turn except the toned and six packed type.
All other types passed as if they're invisibles.

I actually have to agree with this. A lot of women don't like to say they like to look at muscular men, probably because somehow people fear others will think they are shallow if they like what is generally considered the most attractive. Mind you, people actually have different preferences and some women will actually not like the looks of muscular men but I've always had the impression that there are a lot more women who say they don't like this look than ones that actually don't like it.
Men might not be better though. A lot of men claim they don't care if a women wears make-up or don't think it's attractive and this certainly is true for some of these men but likely not for all.

Either way, that women have a tendency to look at muscular men doesn't necessarily mean muscular men will more easily find a girlfriend.
For example some muscular men would simply look too serious for me. I might glance at them walking by but if I'd actually talk to them for a while and they didn't smile a single time I'd not be attracted to them. Of course it's not true for all muscular men but some have very little mimic and always look serious and there's nothing physically more unattractive than an inability to smile.
I don't know if the same is true for other women or if that's just me.

Men with muscles look like they'd be aggressive. So no that's not attractive.

I think this is true too and might be a reason why some women (even if a lot of them might still look at muscular men) are not that attracted to muscular men.

There probably is no correlation between being muscular and being violent but it's more about what a women might feel than what she might think when she meets a muscular guy.
Again I don't know about other women, but very tall very muscular strangers tend to make me feel uneasy (in any context that might indicate they could be interested in me. If they just e.g. ask me which train goes to whatever place they don't make me uneasy). This doesn't mean that I think they will do anything to me. I know that most of them are not violent but if I were alone with one of them and he were violent I'd not have the slightest chance to defend myself. Other men could also be violent and most of them are also stronger than me but I'd still feel like I'd have a chance to defend myself and this makes a huge difference for how I feel about it. I know this isn't completely rational as it probably wouldn't cross my mind that the guy could be dangerous if he's not tall and strong unless he did something that indicated he might be whereas if he is tall and strong I'd feel uneasy - especially if he's one of these guys who lack mimic.

Are we talking to date or just admire?

Also for me too much muscle is a massive turn off. I hate when guys have those shoulder neck muscle things.

I always thought I'd go for a bigger guy cause more to cuddle but have ended up with a skinny guy.

We are talking what type of body that makes a man *sexually visible*.

Most men in society are....sexually invisible (meaning they don't make women's heads turn - at least at first sight).

Is that so? I have often seem women being sneaky and checking guys out especially when we are in a group of girls. Although it's usually discussing the face. I find that more important on my level of attraction tbh and I know that's terrible cause it's something people cannot change

It's probably wiser to get a boyfriend who would stand a chance to defend himself—and you—against a tough, muscular stranger than one who wouldn't.

If that's the case it's better to have a big guy :) that's what my brothers girlfriend loves about him. Cause he is big no one ever messes with him and also she says he is comfy to lay on. I understand her point sometimes I find my fiance a bit bony

^ Your constant complains about your boyfriend's skinniness reflect......a lack of satisfaction - at least in that regard.

Does he know that?

Of course we are completely open with each other. I moan about him being bony when we cuddle and he just laughs.

He has lost a lot of weight recently due to not eating properly so is quite underweight and has a prominent collarbone We have both been working together to help him get back to his normal weight. He has an extremely high metabolism so finds it hard to put on weight.

I would suspect the truth in this is far more complicated than it would be a man. From my experiences, and the way things have been explained to me over the years, women's sexual attraction is a more complex issue than a man's typically is. In that, for most men, a woman's personality and overall way of being is completely separate from her sexual attractiveness. Whereas women, it's sort of all the same thing. They're inter-related and cannot be made separate.

So with that, a woman would check out a guy with a six pack but not really be sexually attracted to him in the sense she'd actually have sex with the guy. It's admiration. I believe women can look at a guy in a 'piece of meat' sort of way, but that doesn't mean she'd act on it, because, as some women said here, the associate that look with a sh***y personality, thus ruining the entire thing. My ex wife tried explaining this to me about myself and I didn't totally ever get it. A woman actually can be sexually attracted to non-physical things. Which is why they can get turned on by certain sheets, or scents, or lighting or music. They're way more complex sexual creatures than us men.

For most men, if a woman is sexy and wants it, then done deal. She can be an idiot, a loser, lack any humor, be stuck up, whatever, but if she's down, most men are too. I'm not like this too much personally, as I have a similar thing to the women who dislike muscles. I like chubby women. I think it's more attractive to the eye, yes, but also women who are really fit and toned just vibe me as arrogant, shallow, spoiled and very self centered. I also, anecdotally, have heard them to often me lousy in bed because they think they're too hot to have to realy try and you should be lucky to be having sex with them in the first place. This could be generalization, but it's how I feel. I just think a woman who's not as centered on having the perfect body have alot more to offer me. One's who don't take care of themselves at all are just as undesirable. Conscious but not obsessed.

As far as why, being the 'conspiracy theorist' I am, I believe there is a conscious worldwide effort to feminize men. A world full of skinny, soft, easily scared, quick to run for help men with no backbones make a much easier to subjugate populace. What better way to make men strive to be effeminate then to convince women that's what they want, while sculpting society towards a very feminist, pacifist collective.

If the men that will get the most attractive women will be the most skinny, weak, pushover guys, then that becomes what men will strive for, because at the heart of it most of us are driven strongly by sex so we're easy to manipulate that way.

It used to be big and strong were desirable traits for women. A protector. A guardian. But today's woman scoffs at the idea, because to many the idea of a 'protector' has been conditioned out of them, particularly in sub-35 women. Now the image has been created of these men being the ones that will mistreat women, are disloyal, dense, violent, lack depth and so on and so forth. I think in the process many women have thrown the baby out with the bathwater. While in women, being fit, other than for athletic competition, is purely vanity. For men, those with still a streak of primal blood running through them, have more innate motivations that can be to actually ensure they are BETTER men for their women. I believe many young women today will find as they grow older these pushover 'nice guys' will let them down when crucial times come. When the time in life comes to 'man up'-- and it will-- they will be unable to, and the women will be let down. And men will find themselves getting pushed over and left when they fail to meet expectations, because most women can always find a replacement if they really want one.

I think that men go for women who smile at them.

What attracts women is more complex, but men who listen is a good start.

Men who look like they might physically overpower. ?... no. Not really.

This is how I feel about muscular women. Like women with six packs are actually sorts straight up gross to me (no offense to anyone-- they'd think my abs are gross too lol) or women with muscular arms too. No thanks. Just looks weird..

Better have the muscles on your side than against you.
