"Who did it?" I asked.
"My boyfriend" she replied.
Then she explaied "I hit him so he hit me back. Then I hit him again".
Now she had quite a black eye. At the end of the day her boyfriend came in the car to pick her up. I never forget it! He had two black eyes. Both eyes! Poor guy. I can't blame him now for punching her back!
Sadly they eventually split as even though both parties loves each other, they both valued their eyes!
Good point, I know what you mean. We are taught as young boys in the States that it's never okay for a man to hit a woman. While I TOTALLY agree in general principle, we ought to teach our boys AND girls at this point in history that it's never okay to hit ANYONE save for self defence.
