I am probably old fashion. I can blame that on the fact that I am 71. But people in the States tend to dress pretty shabby. The one modern dress trend that I abhor is when people wear pajama wherever they go in public.
Back 45 year ago when I dated, I would always try and dress a little better than average on my first date. But if I recall correctly I was more focused on the car that I would taking my date out with than the clothes that I wore. I think that is a guy thing.
