You just made it to the cool buy shy guy list. Call! Call! Call!! Plan ahead what you can say if she asks you things like when can I see you again, can you come visit me, I'll be back in town. Please find out from your mutual friend what she likes, what she is like and if he has any pointers. She will be flattered that you consulted with the friend.

We all better hear what happens when you call her!!

Oh yeah, NT women always would rather hear from a friend, or better yet overhear you talking to a mutual acquaintance, that you like her, rather than hearing it directly. I hope you've already tried reaching her by phone or e-mail at this point. NT women tend to follow this "2 day rule" stuff:
"IF he hasn't called you within 2 days, THEN he doesn't like you" is what the algorithm tells their brain. After that, unless they are really, really interested in you, then they won't try to reach out to you again.

Call her!! ! Just the fact that you called will enough even if you aren't romeo on the phone! She might be going over that moment, too, thinking she shouldn't have been so direct, or she misread you, or whatever. When the phone rings and she hears your voice, that alone will give her relief. It'll flow from there.

If she snubs you or treats you like crap, she wasn't ever worth it anyway. Chalk it up to experience.

We went out hiking and had a lot of fun. Thanks everyone! I'm not sure if there's a second date in store but I'm glad I called her back.

Sounds pretty promising to me. Wait it out for 3 days and then try again. You don't want to impress her as too eager but OTOH you'll want her to have her own emotional roller-coaster for those few days before you convince her again of your interest.

You have a big fish on your line, bro! Loosen up the tension -but don't let her get away!
