Well it's just that I cannot afford to go out to eat every time. But at the same time, I want to do more than just have a 2 hour long cooking session, and eat and that's the whole date. Can't we just have a 20 minute dinner and then go out and do something else with our time, is what I am wondering.

I'll give you 2 donkeys an 4 sheep for her.

Hmmm maybe something to consider if you want to take this relationship to the next level. It does sound a little strange her fixation with cooking herself. My sister is fanatic about cooking her own food and sourcing buying her own ingredients which means she's a pain to live with.

Well she just really loves cooking she said.

I guess I wouldn't mind eating out, seeing a movie, rather than just stay home and have dinner.

Are you forced to help out in the kitchen when she cooks?

In truth, I really don't care too much if my lover is a great cook. Though I experienced feeling really good after intimacy when my lover cooked me a bacon and egg sandwich on a roll.

You may have to train her ironpony. I can tell you from experience home cooked 24-7 means you are going to spending 1-2 hrs a day in the fresh produce market and weekends sourcing one ingredient here and another there.

Do you only see her in the evenings?

What if you spend whole weekends together?

Also is she interested in movies and outings, or is she more of a homebody overall?

Actually "train" is the wrong word. I could never train my wife.

Compromise between your need to go out and do something different every so often with her need to live in her kitchen.

There's four ways to resolve any problem with a partner.

- Do it your way (stop having fancy dinners)
- Do it their way (continue having fancy dinners)
- Make a compromise (fancy dinners on certain days, alternating etc)
- Make a totally new plan together (only see each other in the morning or hire a chef)

We do not have the same days off because of our jobs, so yes I only see her evenings pretty much.

The third one sounds good I just have to find a way to get her to comprehend a faster comfort food dinner over a long elaborate one.

Which is not such a big deal, compromise is part of every intimate relationship.
