The more I look at the question .. I dont think this should just be about the Prositutes acceptance of him.
Emotionally sexual intercourse is about both parties , so then both parties feelings need to be taken into consideration.
Overall this seems to be about what his mother would like .. possibly even like to see . Who knows simply could be a question of perversion or the sexual abuse of her son.

I think you are right it is complicated. More complication that it would seem at least to me at first glance.
I just want to add that theorectically dates, hugs, mutual touching, etc... could be part of a prostitutes set of skills. Some old men just talk to them I have heard. Some are not flexible with their services that is for sure.
Your right there are many different & quite specific services a prostitute might provide, including less intimate stuff such as hugging , talking etc.
Personally I dont see a problem with that. However what concerned me about the OP question is he or she was very specific in that the mother wanted her son to lose his virginity.
That I feel throws up lots of implications.
