This has nothing to do with looks.

I’d rather sit on the floor or in a comfy chair.

I am sure most guys would be grateful if a random women sat on there lap.

Guys can like the idea of it all they want to. It doesn’t mean it’s happening.

Is that because women don’t like the male body as much as vice versa?

Do you sit on random women’s laps when you’re out in public?

Sitting on someone's lap is like suggesting they're a child IMO.
It's creepy.

Or

It's not 'beggars can't be choosey' you Neanderthal , it's 'beggars can't be choosers' , if you going to insult me at least get your proverbs right.

I'll sit on some laps if that'll help.
Is yours free, TP?

The other night one of my male friends sat on my knee for a bit of a joke. I then said “I would rather a woman sit on my knee” then someone in the group said in response “Beggars can’t be choosey”.

I don’t understand . . .
1) The bloke probably thinks of you as a 'beggar' who is desperate for any kind of human contact.

2) Apparently, he is well aware of your poor standing with the local ladies.

3) Therefore, it is also possible that the word 'poofta' was on his mind

It’s free at the moment, but I can’t guarantee that it will be for long.

I don't think anyone here has made a joke at your expense, Jamesy.

^ You're right.

I thought it might make you laugh Jamesy, because of what Raleigh said about joking back and forth.

When I go out I often see more young women sitting on there female friends laps.

I often wonder women don’t want to get close to me because my body is not as attractive as it could be.

Attractiveness plays a role, for sure.

It's not the be-all, end-all though.

I am 5ft8 and weigh 170 lbs currently. Would women rather sit on guys who are 6ft and over?

I'd imagine they generally prefer to sit in laps they'd like to sit in.
By whatever criteria used, yours doesn't seem to count.

I'm not quite 6 feet tall, but it's happened before. :nerdy:

I like sitting on the floor between my partner's legs.
Uh, he's on a chair.
I'm a floor sitter and then he can play with my hair.

Just sayin'.

If these friends know you well and are good friends, they could be just, "Busting your chops" or "Breaking your balls" as they say in my part of the world. I've been known to make lighthearted jokes at the expense of NT friends, but it probably depends on whether these people are good friends to you.

Well the guy who said the comment is not a close friend. He has aspergers as well by the way.

He's probably just ragging on you, but with more tone-deafness.
