Do you have a type?

My type: intelligent, on the Left, open-minded, not religious (preferably an atheist), keen sense of humor, sensitive, and close to my own age.

When I was a teen I did. Now that I am an adult I've noticed many people can be my type. I don't have a specific type anymore.

I struggle to see patterns in anything I like be it people, music, films or whatever. I mean I'm sure they're there but I'm blind to it.

I'd say I tend towards short, blonde girls who are slightly chubby, but there are examples of girls I've enjoyed aesthetically who are not short, blonde or slightly chubby.

But it's more about attitude than anything, I think. I like confidence and independence. My partner used to fix her own car when it broke down which I found attractive. And she can fell a 40ft pine tree with a chainsaw and have it fall exactly where she wants it which is the sexiest thing I've ever seen.

And she was short, blonde and slightly chubby.

My type is boolean.

Needless to say, trying to appeal to both is quite the challenge

Alien-human hybrids are cool.

Clean-cut women play hockey in full makeup and wearing earings, without a helmet or cage? ^^

That would make for a great mascara commercial, I suppose.

Not my type, but I know some people who have a thing for Jesus. This is the Jesus I grew up with:



It looks like the towel loin cloth may give way at any moment, perhaps leading to a special moment between Jesus and John the Baptist.

^ On the exJW subreddit, a poster said that he first realized he was gay when he was looking at pictures of Jesus.

ANYWAY, the leadership thought that the Catholic Church (and probably every other church) made Jesus look “effeminate” and “weak.” JWs wanted their Jesus to look manly so they gave him short hair and a hard, muscly body.

I’m just surprised that they didn’t give him blonde hair and blue eyes.

What did they use for scissors back then?

^^ Going with the assumption that he existed, his hair was probably on the shorter side based on local customs of the time period, but it’s impossible to say for sure one way or the other.
