QFT

And as to statements about ANY girl,
my wife proposed to me.

What does QFT stand for?

Tim

In my experiences women like me because i'm not your average guy. I'm not boring. I can be passionate, I love cats, i'm not trying to impress other people and I love cars. I don't try, its just once in awhile I meet a woman that likes my sense of humor and all of those characteristics.

I'm not the most handsome guy in the world. I'm decent looking, but women seem to like guys that are unique. Keep trying, don't let the crazy nt women get you down.

Aspie men have some darn good qualities. They're honest, loyal, intelligent, focused...lots of things that NT women claim they want in a man. The only real difficulties I see an AS man presenting are the lack of emotional reciprocity, the lack of physical affection (in NT-desired amounts, that is) and some communication difficulties. There's the social thing, if the NT woman is very socially active and expects the same of her husband. Yeah, those can be the deal-breakers, sure, but if a NT woman can see past those, so what? What's not to love?

I love JulieKitty’s picture. It makes me want to run home and kiss my kitty!

I agree. Normal is so boring. I am NT, but far from normal. It’s hard being remotely intelligent and watching the rest of the world putter along in chaos and petty nonsense. I live and let live, not moody, just a nice homebody. Not that I’m not sociable, I just don’t like loud bars and restaurants, and can only take my friends for so long until they sound like the teacher in the Peanuts cartoons.

Strive for beyond normal. Compassionate and nurturing women do exist. We’re just not the norm.

Other than that I can't think of another reason.

I know what this aspie would do, and it's not the passive approach I assure you.

Don't feel bad, bro. 60% of marriages fail...and I'm talking about NT-NT marriages.

Divorce, divorce, divorce...I see it all over the place. If people are too stupid to get married and properly raise children, then they shouldn't even marry in the first place.

When stupid people living together under one roof is madness enough. Being a stupid couple and having kids just adds gasoline to the fire.

But then, I'm not normal, so I don't fit the parameters of the question. :P

Ditto.
Honesty is profoundly attractive.

but there is also such thing as too much honesty - b4 people start flaming me for this, consider what will happen if the guy always tells the truth every single time she asks if she's fat, if her breasts/some other body part are too small/big/wrong shape/whatever, if x girl is hot, what he thinks of her family/friends, etc. what seems to be best is being honest (but tactful) only about the big things. the same goes for women. 'the truthful are loveless' (Kurt Vonnegut)
refrerring to the OP, the only other aspie i've ever met irl is happily married to a very nice nt woman. i don't know how the relationship started, so i can't really comment more.

Me either, but there are some aspies I'm sure that would. I've heard it used to be legal in Texas to shoot your wife and the guy she's cheating on you with if you caught them in the act red handed. Too bad it still isn't that way.

Yep, there's nothing better than a good old honour killing.

Why not go all the way, and fully institute sharia law?

Sharia would be a little excessive. But I think cheating should be illegal.
