Be clear and honest with him and yourself. If you know you will 'cheat' on him again for whatever reason, make sure he is ok with that, really ok. For both sides. Mutual consent is the important bit on this, you both need to be aware and ok with what you are doing. Only after this it will not be cheating. If it is the cheating that excites you, you are in for a rough ride.

If he wants someone for himself and you can not be that person, let him go or you will be in this situation again.
