that was my favorite excuse when I wanted to put a guy off and just be 'friends' with no hope of benefits. Then I could feel comfortable with them and always remind them if they try to get close on trips and suff.

that made me chuckle, because the strangest people get it to work out for them. My brother met my sister in law in 1997 over the internet, as she was working in Intel designing chips in The Philliphines and he was an aspiring engineer at the University of Colorado, Boulder campus. They have been married for 8 years now and going strong.

I'd have to dissagree I've had 4 gfs from online that turned out about as successful as any relationship I've had by regular means. One we broke up because we just couldn't agree on life stuff, 2nd one we had an arguement due to her lieing to me and I broke up with her she stalked me for a few where I got a no contact order (they are hard to get when the other person is out of state), the third one I didn't like her living arrangement so I gave her a period of time to get herself straight and into a place with a non male roomate that didn't happen so I left her. Fourth one I had a similar problem as 3rd but it was more of a problem that she acted different when her friend was around and I don't deal with that so I left her too. Now if I go into stories of real women I dated I've had worse,

Only thing is I don't care I wouldn't have the return ticket under her possession unless I got to see it before hand that its made out to me and it stays in my possession. Thats just my opinion though. Online dating is not the best thnig ever but its not that bad every once in awhile you find a good girl whos not bsing. Just be on the guard because me myself as in the words of Katt Williams "am allergic to stupid (sorry vulgar word inserted here add a letter before hit)" If a girl has a real funny situation it most likely is a lie. I don't believe in male roomates sorry I don't and you'll find alot of internet girls with them and quite frankly their may be a good girl but if she cares for me she'll find a place with a female roomate.

dont get me wrong. I'm not automatically discounting that theory. But doesn't the fact she is still ok with me flirting with her and us sharing a bed kinda contradict that?

....wow this whole thing does sound insane. Granted if she was a typical girl I wouldn't be that interested anyways. Guess best thing to do in any case is just think, hey free trip. Makes me feel like even more of a free-loader though. Well she talked with her roommates so I guess its ok reguardles

sorry sometimes I ramble.

Sure, It seems like a good deal. Although, if someone were to offer to pay for a ticket for me to go to Japan and I had never met them before, I would be wondering of they had any alterior motives, eg; Buying her way into your life, using money as a way to keep you in this relationship.
Although, I doubt that she would be doing this...it is just a possibility.

on the other hand, despite everything that happens, the law of averages deposits good karma on you from time to time...;)

The Russians have a saying..."trust, but verify". You can probably Google them, or there's sites to check on people.
