Actually, Chav, the Accent is the least expensive vehicle offered by Hyundai. Car values in the US tend to start around $10k, and range upward from there (sometimes wildly - my dream car, the Tesla Roadster, is expected to debut in the neighborhood of $125K). My particular car came in at just over $12k, as it includes a rear window wiper and a car alarm (could have had that removed, but it would have taken time, and after the hood came off my '94 Geo Metro on the freeway, I needed another car fast!).

So yeah, if you're thinking I dazzled H with my personal wealth, um, not so much, really... :)

You make this false blanket statement based on virtually nothing. Also your profile says your interests include world of warcraft, lord of the rings, and naruto. That and your post tell me you have not grown up yet, and don't know s**t about relationships.

I was married to an NT for 12 years.

there are about 5 reasons why I will never get married (in descending order):
-Being atheist : I am atheist and I live in a very religious country, no religious girl would stand me and I won't be able to stand the very religious people.
-My autism:I don't know how to communicate with people face-to-face.
-My bitter view: I see the world with a very biological/realistic view, every human behavior has an evolutionary purposes. Magical words like Love and soulmate are no more than chemical reactions in the brain. I even believe that a great part of every human's history is written on his own DNA. Marriage is just an artificial bond which is against the natural selection rules.
-My shortness:My height is 163 cm which makes me very short , studies show that short men have very seldom romance in their lives.
-My looks: I am not ugly but I don't have masculine looks,I look weak. Biologically,I am born as an omega male.

My only chance is to get wealth ...but I might end up like Scrooge MCduck afterall :D except the 3 ghosts part since there's no ghosts.

LePetitPrince, you're confusing cultural standards with biology (not uncommon, especially if you swallowed Skinner's behaviorist claptrap).

For instance, as regards your appearance: In medieval Europe (and most of the rest of the world, for that matter), being a fat slob could be a turn-on. It told available women that you were wealthy enough to eat like that, and not to have to work for it. Skinny guys with big muscles (who would be thought of as handsome, or even macho, today) were poor peasants, who worked hard and got barely enough to eat.

Same holds for the bit about short guys. It depends largely on your attitude. Don't believe me? Ask Harlan Ellison.

And what in the name of Richard Dawkins does atheism have to do with getting married? Is that a Lebanese thing? Because I can assure you that in the US at least, if the happy couple doesn't want religion involved in their relationship, it isn't.

WoW and Naruto is fine; but don't be hating the Lord of the Rings.

That was by far the best movie trilogy ever.

I'm grown up now and I still like it.

Responding to the OP- I don't feel love ever. Nor empathy.
While it may be possible for some with AS I don't think it is possible for a person like me.

I just simply don't care about other people(Let alone women) to get involved in a serious relationship. I would love to say that it would happen if I tried; but the reality is that it won't happen because I simply do not care.

Until I start caring; it is never going to happen.

Radical Behaviorism is true.

...and that's why they were used to cheat the fat nobles with an attractive knight. Were knights and soldiers fat too? I don't think so.

I don't need to ask someone famous. Fame and success compensate everything...even the lack of physical attraction. Don't believe me? Ask Woody Allen or Bill gates. You want to see the truth? Look at stats.

Atheists are not accepted here ...if you look on my ID you'll see "Religion:Islam Shiism" ...you can't change it to none since atheism is banned here, most parents wouldn't hand over their daughter to an atheist here and I can't pretend that I am religious. Besides, I believe that a relation between an atheist and a very religious person can hardly succeed.

Well, at least you can change your view, so it's not completely hopeless.

ProtossX, no, I really think its the particular personality of the person who has AS. Its not even a matter of whether your doing well or not with managing your AS because its still just a matter of what you look like vs. the personality you project and either how congruently those two things flow together, how artistically those things flow together, whether or not you seem like the type of guy that she would think needs her (some women like that in a guy because they have that fear of being left or unneeded topping their list of concerns), or just as likely there are plenty of atypical NTs out there. The psychologically hard part of that to handle is the fact that its something you really can't control your odds with - either you have that sort of AS alignment where your traits make you desirable or they don't. How much of a winner or loser you in the scheme of things also seems to have little or nothing to do with it.

And another part of it is how well your personality, wants, and desires flow with natural law. If you flow with natural law well, you're fine. If you butt heads with natural law a lot - things tend to not work out as well.

I must be the guy that married 2 different NT's (not at the same time...;) It's a strain, but we've managed not to kill each other over the years...;)

It can be done, but it takes the patience of a saint (on their part). We're still figuring all this out. Film at 11...;)

Are you saying you keep taking your girlfriends for granted? If so, remember that's human nature. Be cautious about allowing others to have you believing only you do such things, especially since NTs love to have NATs (neuro-a-typicals) be on the defense when often times they have every right to be on the offense for being offended.

By the way, I've been married for 20 years. Loyalty and honesty is about the only thing valuable in my marriage. My marriage relationship is more like a life-time business partnership with certain personal aspects added in. Emotional intimacy can't exist from either end in my situation. The point? Generally speaking, I think NATs have to have lower expectations than NTs when it comes to marriage (unless they're married to another NAT?).

I agree, it can be done. However, in my case (maybe because I'm a female financially dependent upon my husband, but then he depends on me for typical housewife stuff) I can say I definitely need more patience than he does! It's always been that way for me and always will be, so I'm glad I've finally accepted that fact.

Have you tried used cars. I first one was for £600. I guess of you are much poorer then the general population, then you have low status regardless of quality of living.

I got married to a NT but she suckered me into it. :P

She made a nice living and was outgoing. I was a poor student.
You need to put yourself out there and take your bumps and bruises along
the way if that is what you want. My dating life has always been virtually non-existant.
I don't know the first thing about dating and I am not a kid anymore, but I have managed to have
a handful of stable long-term relationships. It can be done. Find people that share your
interests and make yourself open to their opinion on things. You don't necessarily have
to be great looking, charismatic, or funny, but you should not take yourself too seriously
and attempt to present yourself in your best light.

My dad's an Aspie and still married to my NT mom after about 25 years. So, you're wrong.

Of course, I have no evidence to back this up, and in fact all recorded evidence of tigers in the wild shows them NOT wearing hats - but I stand by it all the same!

hee, hee, hee

Furthermore, if any tigers DON'T wear hats when you're not looking, that constitutes proof that they are not actually tigers!!

Incorrect, studies show that Tigers that don't wear hats are at least 10 IQ points lower than other hat wearing Tigers, this is a scientific fact although I don't have any to back it up, anyway even if these supposed "normal" non hat wearing Tigers existed (Which they don't) we'd have to shock them into realising they have only decided to not wear a hat as we all know Tigers have to wear hats. In conclusion Tigers wear hats and Penguins like Tuxedos, if you don't agree with me then I hate you and I hope you suffer for the rest of your pitiful lives, by the way my invisible friend tells me he loves you!
