Yes definitely. I'm smart but well-rounded. I've got the total package. At least I think so, but I know I'm right  .

If I were a female me, our lovers quarrel would end up with one of us impaled on a crossbow quarrel...

I would f**k the s**t out of my female counter part, but if I was a woman, I'd probably go after other women.

Not right now, I'm combating depression and social anxiety, and that's something I wouldn't share with my partner. I wouldn't want to make her miserable.

Only if I was willing to make sacrifices for me.

XD

Really, I don't think so. Not because I think I'd be a bad girlfriend, but because I'd want to date someone who didn't have the same sensory issues as I did. They're very limiting for me, prevent me from doing or enjoying so many things, and prevent me from being able to tolerate doing certain tasks without becoming totally overwhelmed. I'd need someone who could do those tasks I couldn't. >.<

Also, who's to say how the female me would look?

Now, someone who I had a lot in common with...that wouldn't be so bad at all. XD

I do love this thread.

Oh yeah! I would totally date me!

I dunno if I consider her "marriage" material though. So I wouldn't take it all that seriously. And knowing how she is with relationships, she'd probably be into me more than I'm into her. She'd deny it, sure. But I'd know deep down, and feel some resentment that she made me be the bad guy and do the breaking up. I can't imagine she's stalk me or anything, but it'd be awkward avoiding her socially, since we go to all the same places. *sigh* I guess it's best to avoid that drama all together.

My double would make a good roommate though. ^_^

"I'd hit it."

Of course this hypothetical female me would say that because she was created by my mind just now and therefore knows more about me than anyone else does.

Otherwise I'm not sure if I'd find anything about myself that would make me want to know myself better...

This is confusing. :D

I kinda did date the male version of me for a long time... at least, we used to joke we were the opposite sex clones of each other.

I fell rather terribly in love with him, in fact. And still think about him sometimes.

....how egocentric does that make me? 8O

Have any of you guys ever seen that Seinfield episode where he starts dating this girl who's exactly like him? At first, it goes really well, and he quips something like: "Now I finally know who I was looking for all these years- me!"

And then when they break up, he whines "I can't stand me!"

Interesting question. :?

I tend to think that opposites attract. Men and woman are very different.

I think I would.

It would be great to find a female version of myself. 8)

If we're talking about everything down to physical attributes, appearance and whatnot, then probably not. But if we're just going by personality, interests and the non-physical qualities, then I probably would.

There's a bit of irony here, as over the years I've sort of put together the qualities of my ideal woman, originally for online (and anonymous) role-playing games where I would actually play out her personality, partly for experiment (I wanted to see if female characters were treated differently than male characters.) Eventually, parts of the personality I created for someone else became part of my own. Each virtual incarnation has been different than the previous one, as far as description/appearance, but the personality has been constant, and developing further with each. Until recently I never settled on a physical appearance simply because it didn't matter or didn't appeal to me, but now I have a mental picture to go along with the ideal personality that's developed over the years.

So in a sense, there is at least the idea of a female version of myself, and were she real and not just a product of my imagination, then I would most certainly date her.

I'd also like to point out that I only role-play female characters in appropriate settings, and never pretend to be one outside of the specific media or while out of character.
