The Nice Jerk Guy

I guess it's from AS but I sometimes come off as a jerk when talking to people in general. Especially whenever I make a joke or use light hearted sarcasm, people always take it the wrong way.

Although here lately I am beginning to think I come off as a jerk unconsciously as a sort of defense mechanism.

The nice jerk applied to me would put me somewhere as someone who's a bit less likely to come off as a nice guy naturally, but who hates sycophantically trying to be nice, too, mostly because he overanalyzes in one particular wrong direction all the time. Also, sans pot.

A combination. I like the sound of that.
