Eharmony appears to be a quite good site, and was recommended to me by the same friend who recommended this site. Unfortunately, not only do they require you to be 21 to use the site (I turn 20 this month)

Where did you get that information? I couldn't find a minimum age requirement (doesn't mean it doesn't exist, I know).

but they told me I was in that group that they can't match me up with anyone.

What does that mean? "that group" what group?

I think I stopped believing that around the time I turned 30.

This reminds me of a sci-fi story I once read about this kid in the future, where they have these learning machines that can teach you everything you need to know to do a career, and they pick your career based on what your mind is best suited for. But this kid is one of a rare group whose brains can't take ANY knowledge that way. I wish I could remember the name of the story and/or who wrote it. I think it's in one of the many short story collections i own.

That sounds like Gattaca, 1997 see link

Ok just found it, posting here in case anyone else wants to read it:

The story is called "Profession" and originally appeared In the July 1957 edition of Astounding Science Fiction. I read it in a short story collection called "Nine Tomorrows" by Isaac Asimov, ISBN 0-345-32072-7.

But there is someone for everyone..

Why wouldn't there be? Have you met everyone in the world?

Maybe it's because I have no education, no hope of finding a real job, no chance ever of moving out of the little fascist town i grew up in as well as deeply hating everybody on earth?
I'm just a perverted obese loser wanting sex. And most women want a husband and a family.
I read an interesting article somewhere that said that the lower iq a man has the higher his sex drive. Wich shows that I'm a ret*d.

Obesity you can do something about if that makes things seem more difficult for you. Not saying it's easy, but you could. I wouldn't call myself fat but I did have a bit of a belly on me and it took some serious effort to build eating salads into my routines. But I managed it. Sorry if this sounds like advice that's no use to you just trying to help.

Yeah, but the women I've met both online and in real life aren't interested in a short sex-only relationship.

Also, if I remember right Lonermutant, you're a pretty good looking guy if that's you in the pictures thread. Hair and cloths can make a huge difference also (again things you can control).

Depends on where you go to find them but I have to say I believe that is a unhealthy way to live (both psychologically and physically).

But I just can't ever see myself getting a girlfriend, not even another Aspie.

okcupid.com - it's not aspy but it's free and surprisingly good.
