Again, LESS FERTILE does not mean INFERTILE. Obesity leads to LESS FERTILITY; thus it's less attractive.

Your point was that the more "fertile" women are those resembling the current popular aesthetic- a laughable assertion.
Since being underweight SIGNIFICANTLY endangers female fertility moreso than does obesity,
you've this entire time been playing the fool- arguing that men's preferences are based on fertility, acknowledging that modern men go for one body type, and ignoring that this body type is the LEAST fertile.

Overall, a more responsive post than the rest of your drivel, but you'll still have to do better.

You're beating a dead horse. A Playboy bunny is more fertile than an obese woman. Playboy bunnies are fit and have a healthy level of body fat.

http://www.psychologytoday.com/articles ... man-nature

The fact that the beauty standards (given enough food) remain the same for thousands of years, just shows that it's fueled by our instincts. Nature may seem cruel, but it's orderly and ultimately does what's best for the evolution.

I'm done. I've grown bored of the:
repeating irrelevancies ad nauseum
failing to address points actually made
citing links as evidence, then arguing the opposite of the information they contain
reductio ad absurdum
gross historical ignorance ("beauty standards (given enough food) remain the same for thousands of years" :lmao: )
outright denial of biological variation among organisms
making up realities for strangers based on personal misconceptions of physiology

I'm tired of you claiming that a physically fit woman has a bodyfat level of 40 and that all men are brainwashed by beauty standards imprinted in our brains by freemasons to piss of feminists and give money to the fashion industry. Look at old paintings of Mary Magadele or old statues of Aphrodite. Neither were obese, neither were masculine and neither had hairy bodies. Both looked fertile and both looked feminine.

No, all obese people need to do, is to consume less calories than they burn.

Never said that.
Kurgan wrote:

Never said that- I'm not nearly so stupid as to make claims about "all" one sex or the other, let alone to claim to speak for my own, or to confuse an ideology with demanding evidence for claims made, and receiving none.

You're intellectually-dishonest, sir.

They're also nowhere near the modern cultural aesthetic.

Sure. That's the equation.
And when your physiology burns next to nothing, yet stores almost every calorie consumed?
When you can't afford to buy healthy food, or there is no place nearby to do so?
When you have no place to exercise without fear you'll be the victim of a violent crime?

Comfortable bubble you must live in.

It's bad for you to:
a. pretend being overweight IS a "problem" for everyone
b. pretend being overweight is a "problem" that CAN be "corrected" for everyone
c. pretend that widespread ignorance is anything other than the result of widespread systems which result in it, such as poverty and lack of education

Unless you'd like to argue that the poor are actually intellectually-inferior?

And yes, being a bigot is quite different from judging said bigot.

I didn't say that being overweight is a Problem for everyone. Merely that it is a problem for me, you seem to be projecting your own hurt feelings onto my aesthetic choices in order to blame me for making you feel bad. If some one wants to be overweight, let them, but I don't want to date them.

I don't believe anyone is intellectually inferior. I believe some people simply don't make the effort to unlock their potential. There is no such thing as Lack of Education in the modern United States, school is COMPULSORY. It is the fault of the student for not taking advantage of that. It is the fault of the students parents for not encouraging them to take advantage of that. I will agree however, that the application of funding for education is extremely unevenly distributed. But it does exist in every single community in the country in some form. As I said before, the public library will loan you books for free. If escaped slaves can teach themselves how to read and then go on to attend and found schools to teach other escaped slaves then clearly, nothing is impossible provided you have the will to apply yourself.

Beyond that, you are being a typical liberal. It's always some one the fault of some one else. It's never a lack of personal responsibility. I agree with you that more effort should be made to correct these flaws. But it's not going to happen because the people who control things won't let it happen. But the people who control things also think the people at the bottom are lazy and stupid and lack the desire to do anything about it. I take that as a challenge.

Probably because
you're being judged for passing judgement on others.

How is this difficult?

Then you are no better. Clearly if passing judgement on some one is wrong, then you shouldn't be doing it to me.

I did not ignore your question. I think you've misread my response. I will always call someone out if I feel they're being ignorant, and I have no issue if you do the same. To me, that is very different from calling someone out for their lifestyle or appearance. (ie. their weight.)

Oh, and I have family in Savannah. Some of them are overweight. They're also well-educated people with moral integrity.

Your idea of morals and my idea of morals, I'm sure are not 100% in accordance.

Savannah, home of Paula Deen, the disgusting woman who after poisoning herself and encouraging millions of others to do the same with her Television shows.. then shills for a company which produces Diabetic supplies.

Who said anything about ideologies? Charles Darwin himself said that men prefered the prettier women because of natural selection.

Yeah, cause that's what all fat people do, right? Fry things in BUTTER and put 'em between two slices of bread, rolled in sugar.

Your prejudice is showing.

If you burn next to nothing, then you're doing it wrong. Maybe you have an endomorphic body type; this does not mean that you're destined to be obese, it means that you have a slower metabolism than a mesomorph or an ectomorph. Many movie stars have an endomorphic body type.

Just how many wild animals do you see who are obese? This means that obesity is unnatural. There are plenty of places to exercise with no crime. Furthermore, healthy foods like chicken, tuna, oats and eggs are cheap.

Uh, Yeah, I survived them all.

I also survived WIC, FoodStamps, no public transit, no health, vision or dental insurance, and a school system which didn't believe I had a learning disability but instead thought I had a behavioral problem. But, lo and behold, I managed to take what they had to teach me and make the most of it. But then I had a parent who encouraged me to learn, even if she wasn't able to facilitate it monetarily so instead she did it by providing moral support.

No, not all. But I know plenty who do. I also know plenty of people who watch her show and salivate while doing so over the thought of the things she is making. I know people who have bought her branded products, pots and pans, seasonings, etc trying to emulate her cooking methods. You ignored the fact that she poisoned herself and then figured out how to profit from it.

Ah, so, after the DECADE I spent trying to lose weight the "right" way, and the two-three years following with fad diets and starvation,
what, exactly, was I missing?

Pseudoscience.

Again, what does this have to do with your average obese person, who DOESN'T live in the wild, who lives in an industrialized nation filled with hormones, chemicals, endocrine disruptors of all kinds, with limited access to healthy foods, limited places to exercise, and limited energy to do it after he or she is done working the 2-3 jobs needed to get by?

At my grocery, a small bag of salad costs more than a week's worth of mac and cheese.
Yeah, "my grocery". Much of America is food dessert where there are no groceries for many miles, only gas stations and fast food.

Ok I'm going to indulge in a quick bit of amateur psychology here. Rabbittss, please forgive me if I'm barking up the wrong tree... Was one of your parents overweight?
